Feral Feline Friends of East Tennessee

A feral cat is one that has had little or no contact with humans and is wild.

One thing that is common to do is TNR which stands for Trap, Neuter, and Return. That way they can longer breed more feral cats. This helps prevent unwanted kittens from being born. Plus they are vaccinated and given other care that may be needed.

They place these feral cats back in the same place.

Their Mission

Their Mission is to end the overpopulation of cats in the Knoxville TN area through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), public education, and empowering the community to care for outside cats.

They were founded in 2004 and became a 501c3 non-profit in 2009. Funded solely on donations.

They help TNR feral felines in the Knoxville, TN area.

Their Vision

Our vision is to live in a community where no kittens are born wild on the street, where no cat capable of living in a home is lacking one, and where no outside cats go wanting for food, water, shelter and appropriate care.  Our vision is to end the suffering of cats that are abandoned and homeless in our county by rescuing, spaying and neutering, providing needed medical care, and helping to find those adoptable kittens/cats that we are able to through our home-based foster care program (as we have no facility) and PetSmart adoption fairs, a loving and permanent home.

They also have cats and kittens up for adoption. All of them have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas, worms, parasites and tested for FIV/FeLV and microchipped.
