When the Cats Away … The Mice Will Play

The mice come out and play when the cat is away because the mice feel safe out and about with the cat gone. But when the cat is there, they know they are good as caught!

This saying is goes over to everything actually like people. You can say the cat is the boss and the mice is workers. When the boss is gone, the workers usually will play and slack off work.

Or you can go to say the cat being the pastor and mice the church members. When the pastor is not going to be there, you will see a big decrease in how many church members show up. (check out our daddy hooman talking about that on his blog Courageous Christian Father)
