To get my hoomans attention …

It is me, Lilly Bug here. I just thought I would come send you a quick blog post. When I want a treat really bad, I will make a barking sound to get my hooman attention. He usually goes up to me, you are not a dog. Then, I will go meow.

To get my hoomans attention …

Cat Megaphone

You ever hear of the saying copy cat? We cats, is where they get that from. That is because, we cats can imitate sounds we hear. I was a grown cat when I was adopted by my hooman, I was in a shelter too. So I heard a lot of dogs and yeap, I picked up that sound while there!

I have heard stories of cats imitating birds and even Joel the Brave, he imitates a siren! Yes, you heard that right, a firetruck siren to be exact. He loves to watch those loud firetrucks go by. Maybe his hooman should take him to the fire department for a tour and talk to the firefighters too. Now Joel, that would be an awesome blog story to share about your visit.

I think the reason God made us cats to imitate sounds is because we are natural hunters. When a hunter goes out hunting, he tries to imitate its prey by using sounds.

So this question is for you cats out there reading this blog or even cat owners, what sounds does your cat imitate?
